Meeting the Needs Within Our Community…
With the generous support of our donors and volunteers, we are able to meet various needs within our community and support children and families within foster care, kinship placement, and at risk homes.

Kinship Care exists when relatives stand up to raise children when their parents cannot care for them. When a relative caregiver opens their heart and home, we want to help them with the resources and support they need to prevent children unnecessarily entering foster care.
Fostering Fannin is proud to partner with Fannin County Family Connection. FCFC Family Care Support group meets on the 2nd Thursday every month from 10:30-11:30am in the FCFC conference. For more information on FCFC visit their website fcfc1.org.
Kinship Care
Foster Care
Fostering Fannin strives to meet the needs of our local foster children and families that are not met by the state. Our goal is to give the fostering family as well as the child, all the resources and support needed to create an enlightening and life-changing experience for all. Opening your heart and home to foster or adopt can seem intimidating, but when you have a group like Fostering Fannin surrounding you, you are not alone!
Family Preservation
Fostering Fannin believes children do best when they can remain with their families. Family Preservation within DFCS refers to programs and services designed to help keep children safely in their homes, prevent unnecessary placements into foster care, and strengthen families. When possible, Fostering Fannin partners with DFCS to provide specific support and resources families need to improve overall functioning and achieve long-term stability.
